A well travelled brand

11 August 2010

Iconic Australian luggage brand Paklite will showcase new lines across its standard, adventure lifestyle and business ranges when it hits the Bags & Accessories Fair for the first time ever.

Paklite brand manager Anton Botha said the fair would play a key role in informing the market about Paklite's offer.

"There will also be some new release on show. Alongside our core ranges, we also release several injection ranges a year, which are dictated as much by fashion as by functionality. Consumers are definitely more interested than ever in the way products look, on top of the requirement for lightweight bags and luggage suitable for air travel."

Paklite was established in 1961 when founder Felix Vogelnest started making cases in his Sydney garage; these went on to become Australia's first zipper soft-side luggage

Thanks to attention to detail, quality and innovative hardware technology, Paklite has gone on to become one of Australia's foremost luggage brands. Despite moving with the times to manufacture from South East Asia, the Paklite brand retains a strong commitment to high standards of quality and technology. All Paklite products are tested using strict quality control measures to ensure they can withstand the rigours of modern travel.

With distribution throughout Australasia via its Sydney office and warehouse facility, combined with office and distribution facilities in Durban South Africa, Paklite has an expanding global focus.

Paklite will showcase its ranges at Bags & Accessories Fair from 29-31 August at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
